New Release Available: Silicon ioi 15.0.63.0

This release focuses on PEPPOL reliability, POS2 performance, stock & inventory precision, accounting flexibility, and overall UX robustness, with many improvements driven by real operational use cases.

    Release Highlights

    • Advanced PEPPOL Validation & Transparency
Documents are now validated not only on UBL structure but also on real participant existence on the PEPPOL network (test vs production).
Clear visual warnings are shown when a recipient is not PEPPOL-registered, making errors immediately understandable.

    • Stronger POS2 Performance & Ergonomics
Significant scan-speed optimizations for high-throughput environments.
More reliable visual alerts, improved screen refresh behavior, and adaptive quick-search layout for smaller screens.

    • Improved Stock Inventory Accuracy
New Default Location on inventories, automatically applied to lines when allowed.
Strict validation between warehouse and location prevents stock inconsistencies and input errors.

    • Flexible Accounting Period Management
Automatic opening and closing of periods are now fully separated, configurable per activity type.
New-year counter automation is more robust and fully secured against double execution.

    • Safer Sales & Purchase Quantity Handling
Quantities are no longer auto-adjusted when already compliant with ordering multiples.
Ensures predictable behavior and avoids unexpected quantity changes.

    • Better Pricing & Discount Control
Base and extra discounts can now be independently disabled per price line, preventing unwanted discount application and improving commercial flexibility.

    • Manufacturer Catalog & Import Reliability
Stricter validation on item identifiers (illegal characters, length limits).
CSV imports now validate data types per field, skipping invalid rows with explicit error messages while importing valid ones.

    🔧 Important Fixes & Improvements

    • More robust validation dialogs and error feedback across document workflows
    • Automatic supplier re-activation in JIT flows to avoid blocking operations
    • Improved Expert View stability (filters, numeric alignment, site-based stock display)
    • Enhanced script autocompletion and utilities for advanced reporting
    • External API calls protected with timeouts to prevent interface blocking
    • Improved focus behavior during scanned quantity input
    • Reliable logout handling for better session security

                            Dear all,

We've released patch 15.0.63.3 which includes 2 fixes and 3 features:

                            feat: hooks (default error sound)

fix stock inventory (missing lines and no data in parked inventories)

feat stock inventory error sound on invalid scan

fix stockinventory ioi status & permissions

feat: add functionality to handle duplicate lines in stock inventory processing

                            Summary:

This patch primarily enhances inventory scanning error management and improves duplicate-line handling logic within the silicon-ioi module. In detail, it:

                            • Adds an audio asset and logic to play a distinctive “long error” sound when a barcode scan fails, improving operator awareness and UX during WMS inventory operations.
                            • Refines inventory UI logic: The display of unscanned lines is now conditional, based on internal cleanup settings, clarifying user feedback during partial/incomplete scans.
                            • Removes automatic “park” triggers when reaching maximum allowed lines in inventory sessions, giving users more manual control.
                            • Improves modal management to prevent duplicate overlays on repeated scans.
                            • On the backend, introduces a call to cumulate duplicate inventory lines before posting stock inventories, ensuring consolidated item entries and preventing redundancy.
                            • Adjusts inventory retrieval filters to rely on a more precise status field.

These changes boost error visibility, refine user interface feedback, and harden inventory data consolidation, with no major user-facing feature additions outside of enhanced scanning error handling.

                            Thank you for your attention.
